Our Women Leaders
Stephanie Cook
is a Principal in our Austin office and is passionate about actively pursuing diversity and inclusion in the industry and community. She is the immediate past Chair for the AGC Austin Diversity and Inclusion Committee as well assits on the TEXO DE&I Committee. She is on the AGC-TBB Legal Affairs Committee as one of the first females. Other organizations include the Travis County Women Lawyers Association, CREW Austin, and the National Association of Women in Construction. She is also the current District Chair for the Bee Cave District and has held a variety of leadership positions in the scouting programs in elementary, middle, and high school since 2010. She also participates in the Women’s Symphony League of Austin, a community outreach program designed to provide education on the arts and music to children.

Shelly Masters
is a Principal in our Austin office. She is a past Chair (1 of only 5 women in this role in almost 50 years) and active Board Member of the ABC Central Texas Chapter, ABC LOGIC (Women’s Leadership), Chapter Attorney for the CTSA and Vice-Chair of the national FDCC Construction Law Section and Diversity Committee.

Stephanie O’Rourke
opened our San Antonio office as a managing partner and remains the managing principal. Stephanie’s expertise in construction litigation has earned her recognition from numerous publications and organizations. In 2022 she was recognized as a Top Woman Lawyer by the Texas Diversity Council Lawyer of the Year for Construction Litigation by Best Lawyers in America and named one of San Antonio’s Outstanding Women in Law in 2021 for Construction Litigation by S.A. Scene magazine. In 2019, she was named a Trademark Women of Distinction. Stephanie is Board Certified in Construction Law, Chair of the Texas Bar Construction Law Section, Chair of the Construction Law Foundation, recipient of the Outstanding Lawyer by the San Antonio Business Journal, Ranked by Chambers USA, Executive Board of Directors of ABC South Texas Chapter, Nominating Committee for the State Bar of Texas, Board of Directors for CFMA, AGC Consulting Contractors Council of America Educational Committee for AGC, and active leader in the ABC/AGC San Antonio Chapters.
