Pat Wielinski has published an article in the Summer 2019 edition of the Construction Law Journal of the Construction Section of the State Bar of Texas. The article is entitled: “Current Status of Controlled Insurance Programs under Texas Law” and addresses issues as to controlled insurance programs (CIPs) under both the statutory law of Texas, and common law. It also provides guidelines as to advantages and disadvantages of the arrangements for owners, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
