Biography
Michael is a litigator with more than a decade of experience handling construction and complex civil disputes. He spent the first ten years of his career in California, where he built a broad construction practice representing general contractors, subcontractors, and homeowners on public and private projects, while also handling product defect, personal injury, and business tort matters for businesses and individuals.
Michael then served as litigation counsel at a firm dedicated to handling litigation for one of the nation’s largest general contractors. That role immersed him in the full lifecycle of high-stakes construction disputes on various types of major projects across the country.
Now practicing in Texas and California, Michael brings that experience to bear on behalf of clients across the construction industry and beyond. He has successfully litigated multi-million dollar jury trials, court trials, and arbitrations, achieving favorable results in matters involving breach of contract, mechanic’s liens, construction delays, differing site conditions, construction and design defects, strict product liability, economic interference, and personal injury. His practice also emphasizes contract negotiation and risk management, helping clients position themselves for cost-efficient resolution before disputes escalate.
