Biography

Mike Nolan is a Principal in the New Jersey/New York office of Cokinos | Young, where his practice focuses on commercial, construction, and intellectual property litigation, corporate and business transactions, and civil litigation. He has extensive experience advising startup companies and handling commercial financing, intellectual property, cybersecurity, and software contracting matters. Mike also counsels clients in the media and entertainment industries, bringing a multifaceted approach to complex legal challenges.

Mike brings decades of legal experience to his role, having served in a variety of capacities throughout his career. Before joining Cokinos, he practiced at Carluccio, Leone, Dimon, Doyle & Sacks, following more than 25 years managing his own firms, including founding and leading a boutique practice from 2001 to 2010. In addition to his private practice, Mike served on the District IIIA Ethics Committee for the Supreme Court of New Jersey from 2005 to 2014, reinforcing his commitment to the highest standards of professional conduct.

With more than 30 years of legal experience and over 28 years in business with some of the world’s leading corporations, Mike brings a well-rounded perspective to his practice, offering strategic, practical solutions to clients and meaningful contributions to the broader community. Outside of work, he enjoys boating, fishing, and golfing with family and friends.
