Biography

Megan Foy is a litigation attorney in the firm’s Houston office. Megan’s practice focuses on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, premises liability, construction defect, and multi-district litigation. Her experience includes handling various types of incidents, including plant explosions, chemical accidents, slip and falls, car accidents, and work-related injuries and fatalities.

Megan is a first-generation lawyer with roots in both Texas and North Carolina. Megan received her bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in law and justice from North Carolina State University and earned her law degree from Campbell University School of Law. She is an avid football fan and enjoys running, walking her dog, and exploring Houston in her free time.

Representative Experience

  • Served as second chair in jury trial stemming from motor vehicle accident resulting in defense verdict.
  • Trial counsel for an eight-plaintiff MDL involving multiple defendants that stemmed from a chemical explosion during a turnaround at a refinery in El Dorado, Arkansas. The case was tried in Harris County, Texas.
  • Counsel and trial team for consolidated action involving 40+ plaintiffs and multiple defendants stemming from an explosion during turnaround at petrochemical facility in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
