Biography
Blake Jones is an attorney in Cokinos | Young’s Houston Office. Blake’s practice is primarily focused on construction law and commercial litigation, and his experience covers a variety of disputes involving breach of contract, differing site conditions, mechanics’ and materialman’s liens, and construction defects.
Blake received his J.D. from Baylor Law School, where he competed as an advocate in the Emory Civil Rights and Liberties moot court competition and won an award for the Top 3 Appellate Briefs. Additionally, Blake served as a Baylor Law Student Ambassador, a Baylor Business Law Society member, and a Barrister in Baylor Law’s intra-school moot court competitions. As an undergraduate at The University of Texas at Austin, Blake majored in Energy Finance and earned a Certificate of Energy Management from the McCombs School of Business.
