Biography
Maria has experience representing oil and gas trade creditors in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. Her experience includes assisting clients serving on the unsecured creditor committee. She also represented clients in an adversary proceeding whereby the questions certified to the Supreme Court of Oklahoma were affirmatively answered in her client’s favor. She regularly performs real property research of oil and gas leases and ownership interests. She has also represented mortgage servicers in bankruptcy proceedings. Maria has experience reviewing tax implication of corporate restructuring.
